Israel, by global standards, is a small country; some might even say it’s quite tiny – with a land area of 27,799 square kilometers. However, it’s one of the most visited countries in the world! And it’s understandable why: the birthplace of three major world religions, a holy land, and at the same time, a resort destination with three seas – the Mediterranean, the Red Sea, and the Dead Sea. The flow of people, from religious pilgrims to curious tourists, never ceases. For example, in 2019, Israel welcomed over 4.5 million tourists. And just in September 2023 – more than 340,000. Of course, at this moment, the tourist flow has sharply decreased, but it hasn’t completely stopped. People are still coming.
Anyone planning to fly to Israel should understand that traveling independently in this country is not as easy as one might think. Of course, if you’ve come with a so-called tourist package, there are no problems. You’ll be greeted, taken to your hotel, and then taken on all the planned excursions on a comfortable bus with a guide. But it’s essential to remember that Israel is not like Turkey. Here, there’s a minimum number of all-inclusive hotels with ready-made excursion programs. Most often, people arrive at their hotel, where they then choose an excursion program from the available options. They start traveling as part of a group of 30-40 people, with the group composition changing every day, and you encounter different people. Sometimes, there are those who can spoil the experience of even the most beautiful or interesting historical places. In this situation, to hear something, you need to try to stay close to the guide all the time, and if that doesn’t work, you end up trailing behind, turning your head in different directions, trying to catch something about historical landmarks. As they say, the drawbacks of collective travel.
What can we offer instead? Individual tours. You can arrive at any time of the year and to any place in Israel, just with your family or a group of friends, or proudly on your own – we can provide you with a comfortable stay in our country in any of these scenarios.
We do not recommend renting a car without a driver in Israel for traveling around the country, especially if you are not a very experienced driver or if you are visiting this country for the first time. Naturally, you can use a GPS navigator in your familiar language, but even then, driving can be quite challenging. All road signs are in Hebrew and Arabic, sometimes in English. So if you are comfortable with this language format, there are no issues. Secondly, planning travel time and choosing alternative routes in case of unexpected events can be very difficult. Israel has a peculiar phenomenon – it always seems like distances are short, but the actual travel time tends to be longer than expected! What is it – the weather, traffic jams, or something in the atmosphere? It’s unclear. In Moscow, for example, half an hour of driving is not much time, but here, it feels like you’ve been driving for half a day and you’re exhausted. Such are the mysteries.
And thirdly, of course, it's a matter of safety. A very serious issue in our land. Unfortunately, we are surrounded, to put it mildly, by not very friendly neighbors who occasionally try to cause us trouble. Yes, there are terrorist attacks and shelling. This doesn't mean that all this happens constantly, but these factors must be taken into account and one must be prepared for such turn of events. But despite these factors, millions of people come to visit us every year. You just need to take care of your safety in advance.
A car with a professional driver is something that can really make your journey around the country more comfortable and less dangerous.
What can we offer? We will meet you at the airport, whether you arrive at the Mediterranean or the Dead Sea, it will be Ben-Gurion Airport. If you arrive at the Red Sea, it will be Eilat-Ramon Airport. From the airport, we will take you to any place in Israel, whether it’s a hotel or the home address of your friends or relatives. The cars can vary in class and capacity, suitable for both individual travelers and groups. The driver will greet you, stay in touch throughout the trip, assist with loading and unloading luggage, and provide information about your destination. All of this can be arranged for any time of day. Additionally, our drivers speak at least three languages: Hebrew, English, and Russian. You should also note that from Friday afternoon until Saturday evening, public transportation in Israel does not operate. It’s the Sabbath! The Sabbath is a sacred day when everyone is supposed to be at home and devote time to their families. Of course, not all people living in Israel observe the Sabbath; there’s freedom of choice here. However, at the state level, the Sabbath is observed. In addition to public transport, stores, cafes, schools, and daycare centers do not operate during this time. Of course, all emergency services continue to work. But those planning to visit our country should be aware of the Sabbath conditions so that the news of non-functioning transportation and stores does not come as a surprise.
We can also offer trips throughout Israel with a driver-guide or with a driver and guide, depending on the excursion you book. All this can be booked even before arriving in the country to plan your time in advance. Detailed information about cars, prices, drivers, and excursions is available on our website. In this article, we do not specify prices because they may vary depending on the type of car you order, where you need to go, and the composition, and so on. All information on price formation is also available on our website.
In addition to tourist routes, we also accept requests for accompanying business trips in any format. We are also ready to provide transportation services and assistance to those coming to Israel for medical treatment. You can find all this information on our website as well.
We would also like to draw your attention to the following: Currently, there are still ongoing military operations in the North and South of our country. However, this doesn’t mean that it’s unsafe to visit. It simply means that some excursion options are limited due to safety concerns. We honestly state that we will not take you to the South near the Gaza Strip or to the North near the Golan Heights. But the central part of the country, the Dead Sea, Eilat, are open and safe for travel. We will confidently show you Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, Rishon LeZion, Eilat, Acre, Petah Tikva, Ashdod, Netanya, Holon, Rehovot, Herzliya, Caesarea, Ashkelon, Akko, the Dead Sea, and the fortress of Masada, along with other cities and places.
However, we won’t take you to Nazareth, Bethlehem, Beersheba, East Jerusalem (Christian and Jewish religious sites are located in West Jerusalem), and other places where there is currently unrest.
We believe that the situation will change soon, and our beautiful country will once again become safe for travel. In any case, we look forward to welcoming you to Israel and will do our best to make your stay pleasant, safe, and memorable.
See you in the Promised Land!”
